This holiday season is about more than just gifts for one local couple who we had the pleasure of meeting. They will now be celebrating the end of 2015 as husband and wife-to-be. On Saturday, November 21st, San Marcos native Adam brought his girlfriend to a San Diego State Aztecs basketball game for a date that proved to be even more memorable than she anticipated. During the second half of the game, he dropped down on one knee and proposed on the Unicorn Jewelry sponsored Kiss Cam.
His now fiancée, Cynthia, was shocked not only by the proposal itself, but also by the ring provided to the couple as a gift from Unicorn Jewelry and designer jewelry brand Sandra Biachi. Leading up to the big question, Adam was selected as the winner of a month-long promotion hosted by us and the Mighty 1090 sports talk radio station. After sharing their romantic story in his online submission and an in-person interview, Adam was invited to bring his proposal to life and came to the store to make the ring perfect for his future fiancée.
